Things to Celebrate

I kicked off 2024 by speaking at the Toronto Tea Festival. I’ve always wanted to attend this event and I’m so happy I could finally make it happen. My husband and I moved and I was able to set up my dream tea office. Life presented some challenges this year, which meant I couldn’t make as much content as I might have liked. My favorite accomplishment was collaborating with Elizabeth Arden for a tea and perfume pairing event.

The blog turned 16 years old in October. I’m still learning new things about tea every day, even after all this time. I continued my tea education journey and finished the year by taking Tea 104 and 105 from the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada. The year ended with hosting an intro to tea workshop in my hometown.

Goals for 2025

I’m heading into 2025 feeling inspired and excited to step further into my role as a tea educator. Here are some things I’d like to work on:

  • Get back to regularly posting content, but give myself grace when it can’t happen
  • Post more frequently on Instagram and TikTok
  • Plan more in-person tea workshops
  • Become a certified tea sommelier
  • Travel to at least one tea-growing destination

What are your tea goals for 2025? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below!
